Urdu Literature in the Age of AI

Alkitaab Reading Club proudly organized the inaugural session of Literary Carnival Week 2026, themed “Urdu Literature in the Age of AI.” The event was a huge success, bringing together literature enthusiasts for an engaging and thought-provoking discussion.
The session hosted by Ms Mah
-e-Nao featured acclaimed Pakistani author and writer Ms. Amna Mufti, who shared her insights on the evolving world of literature in the age of Artificial Intelligence. She spoke about how technology is transforming the way we read, write, and experience literature, while reflecting on the changing relationship between creativity, storytelling, and the human experience.
It was an enriching and inspiring session that celebrated Urdu literature while exploring the possibilities and challenges of a rapidly changing world.
